A Little Over A Month

Over the past few months, I have been preparing for a six-month exchange to Paris. So far, it hasn't entirely hit me that I will be leaving in under two months. The journey has been a bit of a gymnastics routine. Recently, I received my acceptance letter from ISC Paris. So I can finalise my visa application. As far as I know, I haven't officially registered for any course. But I'm looking forward to taking some luxury business courses.

Now the biggest challenge is getting my student visa and French Education number (EEF). On the 9th, I went to the visa office and discovered I needed a French Education number. I seriously cried because of how hard I worked to ensure I had all the correct papers. I did, but I didn't have my French Education number. Like any government website, the French Education website is not the best. To add insult to injury, I didn't have an official acceptance letter from the college. Thankfully, I got an official acceptance quickly and got my EEF number in time for my visa appointment.

(an approximation of where I'll be staying)

I've been reading about ways to save money in Paris. I've looked into second-hand shopping, seems pretty decent. I will be able to save quite a bit on transportation since I'll be within walking distance from most of the tourist attractions and the school. I have mapped out places I would like to see, such as the Palace of Versailles and the Eiffel Tower. I've been using Google MyMaps to map out all the places I want to go in relation to where I'm staying. I have found some interesting places on Instagram, like a store called Ding Fring. They sell second-hand luxury pieces.

In the meantime, I've been thinking about the outfits I want to bring. I've looked at my Instagram for past outfits as inspiration. I've been wearing my sweats and leggings as much as I can.
